Hatbox Ghost

Here is my drawing of the mysterious Hatbox Ghost from Disneyland's the Haunted Mansion. I’ve seen pictures of this creepy guy hanging in the “hall of doors” in the mansion. They say there’s nine of him there. I had no idea that he was supposed to be and actual animatronic character in the ride. The Hatbox Ghost originally appeared in the Haunted Mansion in 1969 but was removed shortly after the attraction's debut because his special effect didn’t work properly. His head was supposed to vanish from atop his shoulders and reappear inside a hatbox that he is holding. I’m told that he returned to the Haunted Mansion this year.
