This is a fantastic piece!

Not only is it dynamic and interesting ... the pose offers an expression or a gesture, giving us an idea of how confident and bold the character might be.

The sort of smirk he has beneath his moustache is fantastic ... he just *looks* a little mischievous!

And the choice of clothing is great, as well!

It gives a sort of fantasy or steampunk feel, without being too specific about when or where the character exists. And the detail of the buckles on the boots is just *delightful*!

Overall, it is incredibly well done! The fading lines of the vignette gives a nice feel to the portrait, and the folding and wrinkling of the cloth is very well-rendered!
