Strange Sisters by staino Strange Sisters by staino
Two sisters. One an unearthly elf and the other a disgraceful half-breed. Oh, can you imagine what trouble these two will get into?

Sigh,
Well, I promised to do a new version of and old drawing. Should it ever be completed, it will be a drawing of seven women, representing the standard fantasy races found in classic roleplaying games.  For various reasons, and a whole load of shameful excuses, I only have two figures completed. In an attempt to give you Ladies and Gentlemen something to look at I post these two for now.  I’m drawing each separately. Later I will compile them in a lineup using Photoshop.

these are beautiful. Most men had their first experiences of puberty with their mom's Victoria's Secret catalog. The rare few of us though had it when we looked in the dungeon and dragons players handbook. I love the little things that set them apart from each other the mongrel-elf has a ruddier look with closer cropped ears and a sturdier figure from her human heritage. The pureblood is tall, almost waifish with a figure that brooks no body fat, only whip-like muscle.

I like it. Makes me want to roleplay.

Yeah,
Hay thank you for noticing the little details. It was tough to make them both thin and lithe yet make them different. Often I see when an artist does a line up, in an effort to make each race look different and stand out they make the elf gaunt with features so angular they look alien. I'm trying to make them more human and attractive but subtly different.
For me it was not mom's Victoria's Secret catalog, it was The Official Handbook to the Marve Universe. Sigh.. I'm so friggin' messed up.
Again thanks for taking the time to really look at my drawing and comment on it. You have a discerning eye Mr. Hall. Find some friends, get some dice, a mechanical pencil or two, a bag of Funions and a Rockstar drink. Get to a dark a dusty basement and play!

Blah, blah, blah. I'm really into myself and my art work.

So pumped to see them all together! It is really interesting to see all the little differences between them. Great design, as usual--but yeah, it's the anatomy differences that are making me excited. You keep going, man--your work always makes my day! Hope you are well. :)
